Our early spring meeting (although early spring in March is a bit optimistic in Minnesota) was in Rochester, Minnesota.  We began with lunch at John Hardy's Barbecue, courtesy of Northland chapter member, Augie Schleicher.  We then toured his beautiful Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home in Rochester.  The only professional car there that day was mobbed by all of us with cameras: Augie's new 2006 S&S Cadillac with oval windows.

Following the photo shoot, we were treated to a professional car slide presentation by Dr. Roger White in the Ranfranz & Vine chapel.  Present that day were: Dr. Roger White, Augie Schleicher, Dan Paulson, Tony Karsnia, Gene Rafferty, and Kevin Kocur.

	The Ranfranz & Vine 2006 S&S Cadillac hearse with oval windows.
	The S&S interpretation of the historic "oval window" design of hearses lends a modern appeal to funeral coaches.
	The black canyon Formica flooring of the hearse gives an air of elegance to the casket compartment.
	Gene Rafferty has been framed!  In the oval window of the coach, that is.
