Preserving the World's Professional Car History™ since 1989. |
Fall of 2002 found the Northlanders on the road to Waseca, MN for a fall meet coordinated by Craig & Kathy Schuster. We toured the Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in downtown Waseca following a group breakfast, then motorcaded south to Albert Lea, MN for a barbecue at the home of Peter Phelps. Peter is the owner of the 1965 Cotner-Bevington Oldsmobile ambulance that transported Mary Jo Kopechne following the Ted Kennedy incident on Chappaquiddick Island June 18, 1969. Peter also had a variety of old crash scene photos - many that included views of old ambulances - to show us. Northland Chapter member, Jeff Damm, tended the grill by popular vote. As a firefighter, Jeff is no stranger to preparing delicious meals. He certainly did not disappoint us! ~CLICK THE PICTURES FOR THE LARGER VERSION~ THE
